Having trained in dance, acting skills and performance making since 2001, I run workshops in presentation skills, public speaking, voice, movement, and team work to people from different professional backgrounds.. Below are a few examples of my workshops which can be tailored from half-day sessions to workshops lasting to full days.. All my teaching is customised so please get in touch with your specific requirements.

Public speaking and confidence

This workshop focuses on voice work, body language, and how to get your message across - skills you might need when persuading colleagues; presenting to team members; managing change; or presenting at interviews. We will use exercises that focus on correct breathing, voice production, body language, and confidence. Perfect for professionals who have recently started to present as part of their role and for anyone looking to be more confident in front of people.

At the end of this workshop participants will have:

- developed verbal and non-verbal communication

- improved the clarity and volume of their voice

- become comfortable in front of people

- learned ways to control nerves

- increased their enjoyment when presenting their ideas

Presentation skills and creativity

This workshop is a refresher for professionals who already have experience in giving presentations, whether in training other people or presenting to wider audiences. We will focus on confidence, storytelling, use of space, and effective powerpoint. Through practical exercises you will learn to use creativity and self-confidence to present on topics outside your specialism. Participants are asked to prepare a short powerpoint presentation ahead of this session.

At the end of this workshop participants will have:

- learned effective uses of storytelling

- improved their use of powerpoint

- developed their command of space

- become comfortable presenting on various topics

Group work and collaboration

Creativity and openness are at the heart of this fun workshop on collaboration and team work which focuses on listening and responding. Perfect for team building as well as for individuals who wish to improve their skills in collaboration and communication. We will use exercises and games from theatre and improvisation to develop openness, strong verbal and non-verbal communication, and outside-the-box thinking.

At the end of this workshop participants will have:

- become confident and productive team members

- strengthened their team spirit

- become aware of their individual strengths
