Unforgettable: speak with presence
From afraid and anxious to impressive and inspiring:
grow your confidence and reset your relationship with public speaking
Let me guess...
You dread giving presentations, thinking that people will find out the truth: that you don’t really know anything. On top of that, your heart is racing so fast you can’t get your words out.
Or maybe you give presentations pretty regularly, but it always feels like a chore and you’re not sure you’re getting your message across. You could do with some snappier ways to open and close your talks.
We don’t get training in this thing, do we?
We don’t get told how to do public speaking well. We move up the career ladder, ever higher and higher, and are expected to do more and more presenting. And suddenly, there you are, responsible for a team, a full department or company-wide policies and outcomes, and you still don’t know if you’re doing a good job when asked to speak to large groups or to present the company.

I've developed Unforgettable so you can stop hiding behind your feelings of impostor syndrome and start building your public speaking muscles.
We will work through your strengths and weaknesses and find where your natural authority lies. We’ll discover what’s stopping you from hitting the high notes (so to speak) and plan the next steps to elevate your speaking game, so you become a speaker who’s impossible to ignore.
During this process you get to define who you are when you stand in front of people. This is your opportunity to amplify your expertise and highlight what you do best. It’s part coaching, thinking and reflecting and part training with tricks and tips to improve your delivery and messaging.
There are some pretty simple things anyone can do to make their public speaking pop and I want to share them with you!
Been there, done that, got the butterflies to prove it!
I know how daunting speaking in front of crowds can be. There are the physical obstacles to contend with: clammy palms, shaky hands, a racing heart, a croaky throat, a tummy turning itself into knots. And then there’s the inner monologue: about how you’re not charismatic enough to speak in front of people, that you will forget your words, that you’ve got nothing worth saying anyway.
Practice truly makes progress
Once you start paying attention to what’s actually going on with your body and with that pesky inner voice, you will find that all those gremlins were just filling a hole where practice should be.
This is a confidential space where you can have a go and build the exact skills you need. You might be one breathing exercise away from a beautiful calm voice or simply lacking a coherent structure for your talk to make it inspiring and full of impact.
Speaking in public should be fun and joyous
What a ride to be in front of people and connecting with every last one! Your topic can be serious but preparing your talk shouldn’t need to be.

Here’s my invitation to you:
How about your stop putting the brakes on your career and start putting yourself out there?
And here's how:
You stop trying to sound like everyone else and find your own unique authority.
The first thing to do?
Stop treating presenting like a chore and start injecting some joy into it.
Ready?
But who am I and what do I know?
I’ve been training managers and leaders in public speaking and presentation skills for years and I know that everyone gets nervous. But I also know that inside everyone there is an amazing public speaker trying to get out and shine.
I use everything I’ve learned in my career as a performer and a theatre studies researcher to teach people to stand in front of others without fear. I’m fascinated by our innate desire to connect with others and my approach to this work always starts with what you can uniquely say to reach your audience. Through my experience I’ve come to see that we can all be comfortable in front of an audience and that some basic techniques will make any talk an absolute killer.
I’m all about curiosity and joy and I know for a fact that you don’t need confidence to get started – all you need is support!
And that's what I'm here for - pom poms at the ready!
How does it work ?
This is 1:1 coaching where we will be working through issues that are stopping you from being the best public speaker you can be.
We will be:
- addressing issues around confidence and presence
- learning impactful presentation techniques including good use of voice and body language
- building an impactful structure for a talk that you can modify when you need it.
By the end you will have mastered the confidence to speak about anything and not freak out at Q&As.
You can finally kiss your beloved impostor syndrome goodbye!

What does it cost?

Happy customers
“I would like to thank you for your time and sharing your wisdom during our coaching sessions. They helped me immensely. My main goals were to improve my presentation style and learn to manage my anxiety of public speaking. I’m incredibly grateful for your professionalism and practical tips on how to achieve both of them.
Your suggestions to get connected with the audience through story telling worked for me brilliantly, as soon as I started using this technique, my fear dropped down and transformed my anxiety into excitement.”

It’s time to back yourself up and find out what you can do.
You have a beautiful voice and a lot to say. And the world should hear it.
This isn’t a course where I tell you what to do or give you a list of 50 steps to follow to become a star speaker. I won’t even tell you to feel the fear and do it anyway.
This is us working together to find your unique voice, to discover where your easy authority lies and to expand your comfort zone so things can feel safe and stretchy at the same time.

Questions and Answers
Is this a group programme?
No, this is one to one coaching where we will be focussing on building your public speaking muscles and improving your confidence on virtual calls.
How often will the coaching calls happen?
You can decide how often you would like to meet. The interval between calls might depend on whether you wish to practice your skills in between calls by giving talks.
I don’t have regular opportunities to present, is this offer for me?
Yes, even if you don't have any speaking engagements in diary for now, this is a great opportunity to practice and improve skills you will need in the future. Together we can plan some possible opportunities for you to present either at work or outside of the work context.
You mention developing ideas for a signature talk, what does that mean?
If you are invited to speak on your specialism on somewhat regular basis, you might want to have a signature talk that you are known for; one that you can present to different audiences which presents our unique ideas and viewpoints. This is a talk that is your unique selling point, something you will be known for.
What is Voxer support?
Voxer is an app that allows you to send voice and text messages and a tool for us to communicate in between calls if you need help or advise.
